TRAVIS DURANT
-
LEVEL 1 CROSSFIT TRAINER
For the past 14 years, I've dedicated my life to coaching CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting. But my path to becoming a coach began long before I ever stepped into a training facility as an instructor.
I started where many of my clients begin—struggling with consistency, unsure of proper technique, and overwhelmed by conflicting fitness information. Through perseverance and guidance from my own mentors, I gradually transformed not only my physique but my entire approach to health and performance.
This personal journey of transformation sparked my passion for coaching. Having experienced the challenges firsthand, I bring a unique empathy to my training style. When clients tell me they "can't," I understand exactly where that fear comes from—because I once stood in their shoes.
After immersing myself in CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting, I made the transition from enthusiast to professional coach. Over these 14 years, I've had the privilege of guiding hundreds of individuals toward their fitness goals—from complete beginners to competitive athletes.
My coaching philosophy centers on the belief that physical achievement begins in the mind. I've witnessed countless breakthroughs when clients finally believe in their own potential. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone accomplish what they once thought impossible—their first strict pull-up, a personal record deadlift, or completing a challenging workout they never thought they could finish.
Beyond technical instruction, I focus on building mental resilience and creating sustainable lifestyle changes. The skills developed in training—discipline, perseverance, and self-belief—inevitably carry over into all aspects of life.
Every day, I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others discover their true capabilities. My mission remains clear: to help people recognize their potential and achieve lasting transformation—because I've walked this path myself and know what's possible when you commit to the process.
